FREEDOM CONNECT GROUP // WEDNESDAY @ 6:45-8:00PM //

LAUNCH SEPTEMBER 10TH @ 6:45PM-8:00PM

WHAT IS FREEDOM GROUPS?

A time to connect beyond the Sunday gathering WHILE building our faith, family and friends through study of God’s word and connection.

FREEDOM GROUPS

During our Small Groups semester, Freedom Groups gather weekly to discuss the Freedom Small Group curriculum, which is designed to equip you to live the victorious and abundant life Christ came to give you.

Freedom Groups build on the foundation of your faith in Christ to help you embrace the truth of God’s Word as it relates to your worldview, your past, your sin, your personal value to God, and your purpose in His Kingdom. This group will help you remove every obstacle to intimacy with God and walk in true freedom.

The Freedom Curriculum focuses on six areas of personal growth:

  1. Living in the tree of Life

  2. Walking in the Spirit

  3. Surrendering to Jesus

  4. Speaking words of Life

  5. Becoming Vessels God can use

  6. Living as a Worshipper

BUILD FAITH

Our faith is central to what we believe and practice. God doesn’t want you to have a faded, lukewarm faith the rest of your life — and you don’t need to, because He has given us everything we need to make our faith strong and vital. God’s will is for us to be “rooted and built up in him (Christ), strengthened in the faith” (Colossians 2:7).

BUILD FAMILY

Building a family on God cannot be done apart from modeling biblical teachings in our lives. We need to model love, kindness, and forgiveness in our daily actions (Ephesians 4:32). Instead of embittering our children, we need to build them up (Colossians 3:21). In everything we do, we need to extend Jesus’ love in our actions and words. This will help our children see a biblical approach to life and how content and hopeful the family is because we follow God.

BUILD FRIENDS (CONNECTION)

When the Christian life gets difficult, we may easily become discouraged. The Bible emphasizes the idea of Christian connection and fellowship with other believers so that we may strengthen our faith, encourage one another and extend a helping hand in times of need. Ways to find connection and to nurture relationships with other Christians include church, Christian friendships.
